While its story has never been fully told, the community’s contribution to the history of Northern Ireland and to Jewish history is much bigger than you might expect. Be prepared for a few surprises – including amazing connections with Israel!
Steven, who co chairs Northern Ireland Friends of Israel, has guided hundreds on a Jewish walking tour of Belfast city centre. (See the Jaffe fountain above).
This is a talk organised jointly by the Leeds branch of the Jewish Historical Society of England and Milim Leeds.
