St Columb’s Cathedral – Derry’s living museum of history and culture

Archbishop Tutu’s 80th birthday

Archbishop Desmond Tutu, born 7 October 1931 was an outspoken opponent of apartheid and the first black archbishop of Cape Town. He received the Nobel Peace Prize on 16 October 1984. He is one of the fathers of the "Rainbow Nation" of South Africa.
