Evangelical Alliance NI writes, “This pandemic has raised fundamental questions about church and culture. We are in a period of intense change that will inevitably lead to longer term shifts in both.
“What does it mean to BE Church in the change now, and what can we recover, retain and reimagine about how to be and do Church in the future?”
As a response EANI are hosting a series of conversations looking at “what we might be able to learn so far and how we might reimagine the future. Some important conversations include”:
– The importance of the scattered church, when we cannot gather in normal ways.
– Creating meaningful connections through Church, in and beyond a digital forum.
– The unique role of Church in the Public Square as we serve the most vulnerable alongside social infrastructures.
– How do we share our faith and point to Jesus in this strange moment, and beyond?
Over the next few weeks each Tuesday and Thursday at 11 am EANI will be hosting a Zoom session which will last one hour. There will approximately 40 minutes of content from EANI contributors and then a chance to comment and ask questions. It is hoped to make the content available on EANI’s Re-imagining Faith podcast afterwards.
These sessions are for those involved in any level of church leadership, but are open to everyone.
With each webinar, EANI will be pointing to interesting reading material and some further Evangelical Alliance resources to help you.
These events are free, there is no registration and you simply click on the links below to join in.
