Archbishop of York Dr John Sentamu leads Easter show of faith
Telegraph – The Archbishop of York has marked the Easter celebrations with a public baptism in a pool on the steps of York Minster. Dr John Sentamu, who is considered a frontrunner to become the next Archbishop of Canterbury, baptised 24 new members of the Anglican church by full immersion in front of a crowd of 400 worshippers on Saturday afternoon.

Dawn trip as 5,000 gather for Mass on mountain
Independent.ie – From nine months to 94 years, up to 5,000 pilgrims made their way up a mountain in darkness on Easter Sunday as they gathered for the Dawn Mass. Some walked for over four hours to attend the fourth annual Easter Dawn Mass at the summit of Mount Leinster in the Blackstairs Mountains, Co Carlow. Among them was 94-year-old Rose Cotter who travelled from Cheltenham in England.
