Dublin Institutions, Chaplain to the Mageough, Service for those Suffering from Cancer; Media review – New minister drafted in at divided Co Antrim church
Dublin Institutions
The Institution of the Revd Bruce Hayes by Archbishop Michael Jackson takes place in St Patrick’s Church, Dalkey, on Friday April 12 at 8.00 pm. Refreshments will be served afterwards in the Northover Hall.
The Institution of the Revd Arthur Young by Archbishop Michael takes place in Kill O’ The Grange Parish Church on Thursday April 18 at 8.00 pm. The preacher will be the Right Revd Ken Clarke, Director of SAMS Ireland. Refreshments will be served afterwards in the school hall.
Chaplain to the Mageough
A new Chaplain has been appointed to the Mageough. The Revd Robert Kingston will take up the position as live–in Chaplain in July.
A native of Cork, Robert is married to Rosemary. They have three married children, Christopher, Naomi and Miriam and six grandchildren in England and the USA.
Forty four years of ordained ministry have taken them to many different parishes and they come to the Mageough from Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan where they have been based for the past six years.His interests include reading, woodwork, computers and classical music.
Service for those Suffering from Cancer
Praying for those with Cancer will be the theme of a service to be held in St Anne’s Cathedral on Monday 22nd April at 8.00pm.
The service will be hosted by the DIVINE HEALING MINISTRIES, led by Brother David Jardine. Brother Jardine has a width of experience in the Healing Ministry. His ministry is deeply respected by Christian Churches throughout the island of Ireland. Those suffering from cancer, their family and friends and all interested are most welcome to attend.
