Divine Healing Ministries going on mission to South America
There will be a special commissioning service in St. Anne’s Cathedral, Belfast on Monday, March 7 at 8 pm for two members of Divine Healing Ministries going on mission to South America. Canon David Jardine, SSf, and Eric Lewis will be visiting the city of Cali in Colombia during the month of March. Cali is one of the major drugs capitals of South America and also reckoned to be possibly the most violent city in the world. There are fifteen to twenty people killed there every day and between one hundred and two hundred every weekend.
Alongside this violence there is a vibrant spiritual movement in the whole country of Colombia. Churches there are expanding very quickly and the people are very open to spiritual things. David Jardine and Eric Lewis will be based in a church called ‘The Shelter of the Most High’, but will be speaking in different churches in Cali every day.
Worship at the commissioning service on March 7 will be led by the Holy Family Prayer Group from Drogheda whose music is always lively. The speaker will be Paul Shields from West Church, Bangor, who has visited Colombia on many occasions.
Personal prayer for healing and anointing with oil will be available at this service.
You will be very welcome to come along.
