Today’s thought is from Robert Runcie
In the middle ages people were tourists because of their religion, whereas now they are tourists because tourism is their religion.- Robert Runcie (1921-2000), Archbishop of Canterbury
God of love
You care for us as shepherd,
leading us to fresh pasture and living water.
You care for us as Father,
drawing those you love close into your embrace.
You care for us as Saviour,
forgiving all who draw near to you in faith.
You care for us as Lord and King,
bringing us into the heart of your kingdom.
God of love,
accept this sacrifice of praise,
and the service of our lives,
this day and all days. Amen
