Training Opportunities for Children’s Leaders
There are three training opportunities this autumn in Belfast, Dublin and Lisburn for those involved in children’s Sunday Clubs and mid-week groups.  See Children & Youth – this site.

Matters musical
Tomorrow (Sunday) the services in St Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin, will be sung by the choir of St Luke’s Cathedral, Ontario, while in St Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh, the visiting choir will be from Derby Cathedral.

Next week St Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh, will be the focus for the Charles Wood Summer School which begins tomorrow (Sunday). Among the events will be an organ recital tomorrow (Sunday) evening by David Hill and Thierry Mechler, Choral Evensong sung by he Charles Wood Singers on Wednesday and Thursday (the Thursday Evensong will be recorded for BBC Radio 3) and a Gala Concert on Friday by the Charles Wood Singers and Boy’s Choir. Cork Institution
On Friday evening the Bishop of Cork will institute the Revd Trevor Lester to the Kilmoe union of parishes which is centred on the town of Schull. Mr Lester has been Dean of Waterford since 2003.
