The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, delivered the annual Church of Ireland Theological Lecture at The Queen’s University of Belfast this week. The Archbishop reflected on the nature of religiously-justified violence, and as a case study, on the nature, particularly, of the conflict we are facing with Daesh, or ISIS.
