With only days to go until the iconic Charles Wood Festival begins in Armagh. A feast of choral and organ music is on offer!

Gaudeamus had a fantastic rehearsal weekend in St. Patrick’s College,Maynooth (lead photo above) and are looking forward to taking part in Charles Wood Festival in Armagh on August 21

‘Summer Music in Sandford’ continues next Friday at 1.10pm in Sandford parish church, Ranelagh, where there will be recital by soprano Katy Kelly.

 St Fin Barre’s organ recital – The new series of organ recitals continues in St Fin Barre’s cathedral, Cork, on Friday at 1.10pm when David Grealy, from St Mary’s Pro Cathedral, Dublin, will play music by Dupré, Bach, Reger, Franck and Cocker

Belfast Phoenix Choir will resume on September 10 with the start of the new term. Phoenix say, “No audition necessary and all are welcome. We are a mixed voice choir singing sacred and popular pieces. Come along and have a go!”
