Cathedral transformed by 30000 flowers
Manchester Cathedral celebrated the summer in style last month with the help of more than 30000 flowers. It hosted a flower festival over six days in July as part of Dig the City – Manchester’s first urban garden festival.
The spectacular displays were put up around the cathedral by 400 flower arrangers from across the diocese.

Biblelands becomes Embrace the Middle East
Biblelands is saying goodbye to its name of 158 years to become Embrace the Middle East. The charity was established in 1854 and is best known for its Bethlehem carol sheet, used in thousands of churches across the UK. As part of the re-brand, the charity has changed its logo to incorporate open hands and a cross.
