Habitat has launched its Youth Build Programme for 2020. The Youth Build Programme allows young people aged 16-18 from across Ireland to travel to Romania and work alongside communities on Habitat projects – changing the lives of families in some of Europe’s poorest communities, while at the same time transforming their own.
Habitat are having Information Sessions over the next few weeks for those who wish to come along and hear more.
In 2019, 125 young people from 37 schools across Ireland participated in the programme; learning more about global development, understanding the impact of poverty and at the same time breaking down barriers and building relationships which help change perspectives here at home.
Peter Graham of Habitat said, “As we launch Youth Build for 2020, we would really appreciate if you could promote Youth Build amongst your Year 12-14 students by sharing the Youth Build leaflet or our promotion video.”

Ballymena – Wednesday 25th September, Habitat ReStore, Bridge Park at 7pm
