’For all the Saints’
St Ann’s Church Choir presents “For all the Saints”, a charity concert, on November 1 at 8.00 pm in St Ann’s, Dawson Street, Dublin. Admission is €10 and the proceeds will go to church and choir funds

‘Rekindle’ series by Crosslinks
A four-week series on God’s mission and where you fit, with a guest speaker or special focus each afternoon begins Sunday 11th November in St Macartin’s Cathedral Hall, Enniskillen from 3.30-5.00pm. . For further details, contact Valerie Ellis: vellis@crosslinks.org or 028 9079 6028.

“Soul Sisters” series at TCD Chapel
The “Soul Sisters” series continues in Trinity College Chapel. The series aims to celebrate inspiring women and runs until early December in the context of Sunday morning Choral Eucharist at 10.45 am. All are welcome. The full list of visiting speakers is as follows: Alice Leahy, Director of “Trust”, a service for people who are homeless (7 October); Miriam O’Callaghan, TV and Radio presenter, broadcast journalist (21 October); The Revd Celia Grace Kenny, Church of Scotland Minister (4 November); Dr. Cathríona Russell, School of Religions and Theology, TCD (18 November) and Ms. Emily O’Reilly, Ombudsman and Information Commissioner (2 December). The TCD Dean of Residence, the Revd Darren McCallig, will preach on the other Sundays (30 September, 14 and 28 October, 11 and 25 November and 9 December).

Dance United in cathedral
Alternative Energies is an evocative and sensory intergenerational dance performance by women and girls, aged 13 to 83 years, from across communities in Belfast and Ballymena.
It links time and energy in a reflective way, using set, sound and visuals to bring the outside world inside. Set in the magnificent surroundings of St. Anne’s Cathedral, this inspired dance piece is woven together by a commissioned score composed by violinist, Ruby Colley, and performed live by a string quartet and choir –
1st-3rd Nov 5.00pm
The project is delivered by DU Dance (NI), a dance development company based in Belfast and funded by The Queen’s Silver Jubilee Trust. www.dudanceni.org

Enthronement date
The Enthronement of The Most Revd Dr Richard Clarke as the 105th Archbishop of Armagh will take place in St Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh on Saturday 15th December 2012 at 3.00 pm.

Clogher MU changes
At the Autumn MU Council meeting on Thursday 25th October in Maguiresbridge, Geraldine Beattie, President of Clogher MU passed over the Presidential Badge to the President Elect, Dr Margaret Knox. Dr Knox’s term of office begins on 1st January. Her Commissioning Service is on Sunday 13th January in Derryvullen North Parish Church (Irvinestown).

Donna Downey is the new Branch Leader of Derrybrusk MU Branch. She is married to Colin and has two small sons, Alex and Joshua.
