Palliative care unit is first of its kind
News Letter – A new unit providing the only specialist palliative care beds available within the NHS in Northern Ireland has opened at Antrim Area Hospital. Macmillan Cancer Support raised a massive £2.1m from people across the Province to help build the much-needed unit and gave another £800,000 to help cover staff costs.
