Seeds of Hope: EMBRACE AGM

The evening will consider Seeds of Hope: aspirations, attitudes and actions for building a welcoming community. Everyone is warmly invited to the EMBRACE AGM and Spring Meeting on Tuesday 10th May 2011, from 7.30pm till 9.30pm at Edgehill College Belfast.

The evening will consider Seeds of Hope: aspirations, attitudes and actions for building a welcoming community. Rev Dr Inderjit Bhogal, newly appointed leader of the Corrymeela Community, founder of the Cities for Sanctuary movement and former President of the British Methodist Conference will provide the keynote address, sharing his aspirations as he returns to N Ireland.

Helen Young, Field Officer for the Irish Episcopal Council for Immigrants will speak about some of her hopes for integration at parish level drawn from her work within the Catholic Church.

There will also be opportunity to hear about EMBRACE activities over the past year and to reflect on our own hopes for engaging more meaningfully with migrant people.
This is an open meeting and all are most welcome.
