SPEAKING TO THE SOUL

Saturday 25th February

A QUOTE, A TEXT AND A PRAYER…OR TWO

A QUOTE
Better to be occasionally cheated than perpetually suspicious.—Unknown
It is better to suffer wrong than to do it, and happier to be sometimes cheated than not to trust. — Samuel Johnson

A TEXT
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. – Romans 8:28

AND A PRAYER…OR TWO
A prayer for children:
Have mercy, O God, on all children who are handicapped by poverty, or illness; broken or unhappy homes. Lift from them the burden of misery and fear. Enable all who care for them to minister with tenderness, and to trust always in your power, to heal and restore; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Lord in your mercy – Hear our prayer.
