Christ Church Cathedral’s ‘Adeste Fidelis’

Thanks to the endeavour of “Mark from Ireland” there is now a U Tube clip of Christ Church Dublin’s recent Christmas performance of this well known carol on the Saturday Chorale site.

Mark comments : The choir of Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin (Church of Ireland/Anglican) can trace their history back to 1493 when the choir school was founded. Their extensive repertoire covers five centuries and includes works specially written for them they pioneered choral musical education for Irish girls in 1995 with the setting up of Christ Church Cathedral Girls’ Choir with the aim of providing Irish girls a musical education and training that previously was only available to boys.
