Living Worship 2012: Jonathan Rea

Living Worship looks at aspects of church music in a wider context than simply playing the organ or singing in a choir.

Now in its 7th year, Living Worship has something to offer to everyone – musicians,  clergy, other worship leaders, etc. – anyone who has an interest or involvement in music of worship.

At the final session, on 4 February, the versatile musician, Jonathan Rea, Artistic Director of  New Irish Arts, Belfast will lead a discussion on the role of the music group leader, with a sideways look at church politics.

These sessions are informative, stimulating and always enjoyable. Each speaker illustrates their subject by getting the whole group singing. And the 30 minute break for refreshments provides an opportunity for useful social engagement.

Course Fee: €90 for all four lectures throughout January and February.  To book, call David on 087 668 3998 or email info@churchmusicdublin.org.

Venue: Mageough Hall, Cowper Road, Rathmines, beside the Cowper tram stop
