New Music work by Dublin curate

This Sunday 10 July at 8pm in St Michael’s Church, Dún Laoghaire, organist Carole O’Connell will be joined by NSO percussionist Roger Moffatt and Anne-Marie O’Farrell, curate in Sandford and Milltown, on pass4sure 1Z0-043 pedal and wire strung harps, for the premiere of Anne-Marie’s new work, ‘The Lauding Ear’.

‘The Lauding Ear’ (2011) is based on Psalm 150; a psalm of praise that names a range of musical instruments used in ancient temple worship. They are all used at in some point in the piece, and so they passages suggest particular verses of the psalm.

The group will also perform Brian Boydell’s ‘Confrontations in a Cathedral’ for organ, harp and percussion. Solo organ works in the recital will include music by Buxtehude, Reger, Sweelinck and JS Bach. pass4sure 1Z0-043
