The MU in Kilmore, Elphin and Ardagh Diocese

The Diocese covers a large geographical area, taking in Counties Cavan, Longford, Leitrim, most of County Roscommon and much of County Sligo in the Republic and some parishes in County Fermanagh in Northern Ireland.

Mothers’ Union has 415 members in 19 branches across the Diocese. Whilst membership in some of the branches is quite small, they never forget that they are part of a worldwide Christian organisation with over 3 million members throughout the world, and that they are united with them in prayer and worship.

The overseas Diocesan link is with Kajiado in Kenya and there is regular communication with members there and mutual prayer support.

The MU in the dioceses is linked to the Diocese of Cork, Cloyne and Ross and regular exchange visits take place with members there.
