Urgent and varied long and short term opportunities in Tanzania

CMS Australia wishes to help worker on a Mothers Union pre-school project
Are you interested in supporting missionaries in their work? Are you a trained primary or secondary teacher – or do you know someone who is? Do you have experience in the hospitality industry or as a barista – or do you know someone who does?
CMS-A have a job for you!

Two CMS-A missionary families in Tanzania urgently need home-schooling support. There are opportunities for other ministry in English. These are great situations with wonderful people. Each family has a home-schooling syllabus that can be followed. Helpers are needed from January 2011 for up to 12 months (or even two years if you are able).

Amy Vink is involved with a Mothers’ Union project assisting women and children in need through church-based preschools. It is called the Rehema (Mercy) Project.
To raise funds for this they are going to run a coffee shop aimed at foreigners. They have the coffee machine and would love some short-termers (been a McDonald’s employee?!) who could come for three, six or 12 months to run the cafe, but more importantly to train locals in hospitality skills and thus equip them to run this cafe independently.
