American Nun Responds To Vatican Condemnation
The Vatican recently announced that it would completely make over the Leadership Conference of Women Religious because of its “radical feminist themes incompatible with the Catholic faith.” Sister Pat Farrell, who heads the organization, says many of the charges are unsubstantiated.

Russian patriarch calls for reconciliation in ceremony at massacre site
Patriarch Kirill I of the Russian Orthodox Church spoke at a service on 15 July to consecrate a church near a forest where thousands of Polish army officers and intelligentsia were massacred by Stalin’s secret police in 1940.

UN chief urges Iraq and Iranian opposition group to work together to finish group’s relocation
Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon called on the Iraqi government and an Iranian opposition group that was given refuge in the country during Saddam Hussein’s rule on Monday to work together to peacefully complete the group’s relocation without further delay.

Nigeria: Interfaith Delegation Releases Report on Violence
